“For a Sustainable Development and Environment: Think SAFE – Organize SAFE – Act SAFE„

- Goal of the Project:

Efficient and effective recognition, harmonization and addressing of all current and future needs for preventing, coping with and managing challenges related to civil and natural emergencies in Albania, through the establishment and operation of the SAFE platform as a concrete informative, orienting and coordinating mechanism, to provide timely intervention and optimal and coherent solutions.

- Planned Activities:

Activity 1. Designing, establishing and empowering the SAFE platform as a mechanism for informing, preventing and managing civil and natural crises and emergencies in Albania;

Activity 2. Mapping of relevant institutions, at the local and central level, which are responsible for informing, preventing and managing crises and civil and natural emergencies in Albania;

Activity 3. The establishment of the intersectoral network for the prevention and management of crises and civil and natural emergencies in Albania, consisting of representatives of local and central institutions, businesses, organizations, etc.;

Activity 4. Development of the Academy for Civil and Natural Emergencies with the aim of increasing the capacities of actors involved in the prevention and management of crises and civil and natural emergencies;

Activity 5. The development of 1 (one) national informing, awareness raising and sensitizing campaign regarding the importance of preventing crises and civil and natural emergencies, especially those caused by the human hand itself.

Activity 6. Development of mix informing and awareness raising campaigns (online and physically) in high and higher education institutions.

Cyber Security Tips

1. Keep Personal Information Professional and Limited

Potential employers or customers don't need to know your personal relationship status or your home address. They do need to know about your expertise and professional background, and how to get in touch with you. You wouldn't hand purely personal information out to strangers individually—don't hand it out to millions of people online.

2. Keep Your Privacy Settings On

Internet security software cannot protect against every threat, but it will detect and remove most malware—though you should make sure it's to date. Be sure to stay current with your operating system's updates and updates to applications you use. They provide a vital layer of security.
